Pastor Rick Wright's Update

In 2001 Destiny’s child wrote a hit song called “Survivor” and as a kid I remember hearing it everywhere! The car radio, MTV, kids singing it, and even my older brother's CD player! It was an anthem to everyone who had ever been through something in life! I believe King David would have had it on his apple music playlist considering all that happened in his life! 

This week our scripture we will dive into is Psalm 63 which was written by King David who was running fro his life in the wilderness. King David was chosen by God and anointed King by Samuel but the present king Saul was not going for that! He in all his anger and jealousy pursued King David to take his life and continue his reign as Israel’s king! King Saul’s attempts would all be in vain because God was with King David in the wilderness and helped him remain a survivor! This week as we look into the scriptures we will examine God’s blueprint for surviving our “Wilderness”!
