NEXT STEPS · BAPTISM
Whether you've followed Jesus for thirty years and never got baptized, or you decided last Sunday, we would be honored to baptize you.
WHAT IS BAPTISM?
The Bible says that all professing Christians should be baptized. Water baptism, also called Believer's Baptism, doesn't save you. It announces something that already happened in you.
Jesus was baptized while He was on the earth, and we follow His example. When believers are baptized, they go under the water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus, and come up out of the water to identify with His resurrection.
REGISTER TODAYGo therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
MATTHEW 28:18-20
WHAT YOU'RE DECLARING
ONE
You are a follower of Jesus Christ, and you're not keeping it to yourself.
TWO
You are beginning a changed life in Christ, starting from today forward.
THREE
You are part of a new family, and this church is standing there with you.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
BEFORE THE DAY
Nothing about this should feel complicated. Here's all you need to know.
Just yourself. We provide a shirt, towels, and a place to change. Wear something you don’t mind getting wet underneath.
Bring your family and your friends. This is a celebration, and the room gets loud for a reason.
Baptisms happen during our regular Sunday service. Register and our team will get you the next date and the details.
BAPTISM FACTS
Because Jesus commanded it and modeled it. Matthew 28:18-20 tells the church to go and make disciples, baptizing them. Jesus Himself was baptized. Following Him in baptism is an act of obedience, not a requirement for salvation.
