Session 2: God Controls My Story

CCW Kids Families,
This week, your kids learned that God controls our story. We looked at Esther and her incredible story of faith and obedience. God placed her in a special place to help save His people. Think about your own story and times when God put you in a specific place for a specific reason — even if you didn’t know it at the time! Share your story with your kids. God controls your story, and you can trust in Him.
Simple Truth: I Am Secure
Theme Verse: “God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- January 21: Sanctity of Human Life Sunday - THIS SUNDAY, CCW Kids aged Kindergarten through fifth grade will join the main gathering for a special time of prayer and blessing. This will take place on stage during worship. If you wish for your child to not be photographed or videoed, please let them remain with you in the main gathering until this portion of the service concludes. Then they can return to CCW Kids when pastor Eli and the kids proceed to the kid's chapel.
- January 24: Night of Worship - Childcare will be provided from 6-8 p.m. for preschool children. Pizza dinner will be provided at 6 p.m. Parents and children aged K-5 are invited to join in this church-wide night of corporate worship!
