Pastor Rick's blog 3/17/22
CCW Weekly Update
David experienced a depth of joy and sorrow in unbelievable circumstances that may never touch our lives, but somehow his song of praise in 2 Samuel 22 is still relatable. If we were to learn one thing from the rollercoaster life of David, it would be this. Call upon God, inquire of God, ask God, repent to God, and seek God above all else. It was not David’s might or righteousness that made him a good King. No, he became the greatest pre-Christ ruler of God’s people for one reason, because he was a man after God’s own heart. He depended upon God for his strength and security. Even though David's life was a rollercoaster, He rarely lost sight of the almightiness of God. Join us this Sunday for the last of our Slay sermon series as Pastor Rick preaches “Fight for Victory.” We can’t wait to see YOU!!
Sunday School is available for adults and children. Find your place at 8:45! The elementary age children are in Children's Church and the nursery is open.
