CCW Weekly Update
We head into a new sermon series for July from the book of Judges. You won't want to miss a single Sunday as Pastor Rick gets us "Stirred Up!" The young people will be sharing about Go Tell Camp and it's always so awesome to hear what God has been doing in their lives. Remember to pray for them as they are at camp through Friday.
In my Saturday Word for the Week, I shared that work is a blessing, not a curse! Even though the sin in the Garden of Eden may have brought thorns to the work, the task of tending the garden was given before the fall into sin and the following consequences. God didn't bring dinner to Adam and Eve, they had to work for their food. First, God created paradise, then He created Adam and Eve, then he put them to work. “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it" (Genesis 2:15). Work is God's plan for man. "Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill of poverty" (Proverbs 28:19). Giving your job your best pleases the Lord and ultimately He, not your boss, controls your future. So when God opens the door for honest hard work, give it your very best. We continue to make sure that we meet in a super clean, and sanitized building. Sunday School is available for adults and children. Find your place at 8:45! The elementary age children are in Children's Church and the nursery is open.
