A Message from Pastor Danny
Dear Church Family,
During these difficult times we are living in, let's keep the faith. The Bible says, "We must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away" (Hebrews 2:1). Paul writes, "The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine" (2 Timothy 4:3). When we study the progression in the lives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, we see Abraham's blessings came through a personal relationship with God. Isaac inherited his father's blessings. Not until the Philistines attacked him, did he go back and dig again the wells of his father Abraham and build an altar to the Lord. Finally Jacob, the third generation, came along and tried schemes and shortcuts to obtain God's blessings. Only when he had a life-changing encounter with God at Peniel, did he renew his life on the foundations laid by Abraham and Isaac. Let's keep the faith and pass it on to our children. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says "And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Let's give our children." Let's give our children the truth and our time!
We're in the building worshiping together, though with social distancing and a super clean, and sanitized building. Sunday School is available for adults and children. Find your place at 8:45! The elementary age children are in Children's Church and the rest of our families are together in the 10:00 service. The nursery will re-open in July and fellowship meal in late August. Many of the online ministry opportunities will continue to be available to you as we move toward our new normal. Check the church website for links. It's awesome!
