Week 4 — What We’ll Be Learning

This week, we will be learning about God’s Covenant With David (2 Samuel 7).
Brite Idea: God promised a forever King.
Series: King of Kings

This weekend, we will be learning that God made a special promise to King David. David wanted to build a temple for God, but God said David’s son would do it instead. Even more amazing, God promised that someone from David’s family would be the forever King. This forever King is Jesus—the Savior God had promised since the very beginning. Jesus would come from David’s family, defeat sin, and reign forever! We will see that God always keeps His promises and that Jesus is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings!

REMINDER: There will be no 10 AM Chapel (K-5th grade) service this Sunday, October 26th, as this class will be helping lead adults in their worship service. Classes for preschool aged children will continue as usual!
