CCW Students Weekly

CCW Students Update

These weekly updates are sent every Thursday and include a recap of Wednesday night's lesson in addition to what students can look forward to in Sunday School. A schedule of upcoming events and registration links will also be included, as well as the occasional helpful resource for parents and/or students!

Our regular services are as follows:

CCW Students Sunday School: 8:45 AM
Girls meet in Classroom 1 and boys meet in Classroom 2

CCW Students Midweek: Dinner at 6 PM, Service at 6:30 PM
Gym

Please note, it has become customary for students to arrive at 9 AM - 9:15 AM. However, we share our Sunday school space with the CCW Kids ministry, so our Sunday school time must end strictly at 9:45 AM. Please ensure students arrive on time for Sunday school at 8:45 AM so we can use our full Sunday school hour time without going over on time. Thank you!

Midweek Recap and Sunday Preview

Yesterday's message was from Zechariah 4:1-14. We learned about how God's faithfulness in the past points us to his faithfulness to come. God himself will bring about his plan and his Spirit provides the power needed. Our participation in God's plan and our faith in his power point others to him.

Sunday School's passage will be from John 1:1-14 — Jesus is God in the flesh, the Living Word.

CCW Student Opportunity

Upward Soccer is a vital part of CCW life that brings many families and their children to the church and exposes them to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am excited to announce that CCW Students will be operating a concession stand during games from 2-4 PM on Sunday afternoons. We will sell light refreshments (no cooking required) to help raise funds for CCW Students ministry and offer students the opportunity to serve (and gain community service hours for school!).

If you or your student is interested in more information, please let me know!

Communication and Contact Consent

Communication is an important part of student ministry. It helps build friendships among students and provides opportunities for encouragement and mentorship from leaders. Many students already use phone or digital communication to ask questions about events, share prayer requests, or send invitations to activities. Group messages are also a helpful way to share updates, prayer needs, and encouragement with students and leaders together.

Parents cannot join certain student/leader group communications in lieu of their student because every family has different communication preferences. This form allows you as the parent/guardian to decide what type of communication you are comfortable with for your student. Our goal is to ensure safety, clear communication, and respect for your family’s choice.

Find our contact consent form in our weekly CCW Students email.
