Week 4: What We're Learning! 

Hey parents! Take a look at what we're learning this weekend.

Night of Worship is January 28th! There will be NO childcare that night. Kids of ALL ages are invited to join the adult service! 

Jesus Demonstrates His Power (Mark 4:35–5:20)

(Preschool) Monthly Big Question: Who is Jesus? Jesus is God's Son!

Jesus was asleep in a boat with His disciples when a terrible storm struck. The disciples woke Him, fearing for their lives. Jesus rebuked their lack of faith, calmed the storm, and left them amazed. Then they encountered a man possessed by demons. Jesus cast out the spirits, sending them into a herd of pigs, which drowned. The people in the town asked Jesus to leave, but Jesus told men to share what God had done.

Jesus is the Son of God! He has power over all things—from everything in the physical world like weather to everything in the spiritual world. Nothing is greater than Jesus. Even the evil spirit recognized Jesus as the Son of God, which shows us it is not enough to know who Jesus is. Jesus came to make a way for us to be forgiven of our sins. We must not only know who He is, but believe He is the Promised Rescuer and trust Him for forgiveness for our sins. Only He has the power to defeat death and give us eternal life.  

Monthly Memory Verse: But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:31)
