Week 4: What We're Learning!

Hey parents! Check out what we're learning this weekend:
Announcements:
- if your child is attending Kids Camp (overnight at Hargis) there is a mandatory parent meeting THIS Sunday after church! Lunch provided.
James (James 2:1–17)
Brite Idea: God helps us love others.
Big Question (Preschool): Who can we ask for help? We can ask God!
James became a leader of the Jerusalem church. His letter offers wisdom for all believers. In James 2, he teaches not to show favoritism, emphasizing that both the rich and poor are equally loved by God. Showing mercy instead of judgment reflects true faith. Faith in Jesus should inspire actions that help others, especially those in need. God's love is for everyone, and trusting in Jesus brings eternal life.
God loves everyone, rich or poor, tall or short, popular or not. He wants all people to know Him. He loves everyone in the world so much that He sent Jesus to die on the cross for everyone’s sin. Because He rose from the dead, He made a way for those who trust in Him to have eternal life. Romans 10:23 says: For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Monthly Memory Verse: May God equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 13:21a)
