CCW Kids Weekly Update

Week 4: What We're Learning! 

Hey parents! Take a look at some important info as well as what Preschool CCW Kids will be learning this weekend.

Important Notes: 
1. THIS Sunday--we will ONLY have preschool aged classes for the 10 AM service. It will be a family style worship, so K-5th will join adults! Sunday school is still available for all ages. 
2. Christmas Eve- CCW will be having a Christmas Eve service at 4 pm. Everyone will be together in the worship center. K-5th grade will be singing 2 songs on stage! All kids who plan to sing, please arrive to the church at 2:30 on Christmas Eve! See parent conversation in CCW app for further details. 
3. NO Midweek on Dec. 31st! 

THIS SUNDAY..
Anna and Simeon (Luke 2:22–38)
Brite Idea: Jesus came for everyone. 
This Month’s Big Question: Is God faithful in keeping His promises? Yes, God is!

Simeon, someone who loved and followed God, wanted to meet the Savior God had promised. Simeon met Jesus at the temple where Mary and Joseph had brought Jesus. Simeon praised God and told them Jesus had come for everyone. A prophet named Anna came and met Jesus too. She told everyone the promised Savior had been born.

Pointing Preschoolers to Jesus
The birth of Jesus made God’s promise come true. Jesus would grow up, die on the cross and then rise again, making a way to save everyone from their sins so they could be with God forever.


Monthly Memory Verse: A Child is born, to us a Son is given.  (Isaiah 9:6)
