CCW Kids Weekly Update
Week 1: What We're Learning!

Hey parents! Take a look at what (preschool) CCW Kids will be learning this week as we move into a new series:
Important Notes:
December 3rd- there will be a church meeting and NO CCW Kids' services
Christmas Eve- CCW will be having a Christmas Eve service at 4 pm. Everyone will be together in the worship center. K-5th grade will be singing 2 songs on stage! Practices will be Dec. 14th and 21st. See parent conversation in CCW app for details.
Week 1: Forever King (Micah 5:1–5)
Brite Idea: God promised a Savior who would be King forever.
Biblical Theme: God is a promise keeper.
God used prophets to warn Israel about their sin and to point to a coming Messiah. Micah told the leaders they were wrong for mistreating the poor and that enemies would capture them. But he also promised that a forever King would come—born in the small town of Bethlehem. This prophecy pointed to Jesus, the Savior.
Why did God’s people need a Forever King? Only a King who is God can save us from sin forever. We are all separated from God because of sin, just like the Israelites. Jesus, the eternal King, came to rescue us. When we believe in Him, our sins are forgiven, He becomes the King of our lives, and we get to live with Him forever.
Monthly Memory Verse: Isaiah 9:6
