CCW Kids Midweek Recap
CCW Kids Midweek Recap!
CCW Kids Families,
We are teaching kids that, when they have a relationship with God, they are never alone because God is always with them. This week’s Bible story is at the heart of Christmas—the story of when Jesus was born from Luke 2. God sent His Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world. This is the reason we celebrate Christmas!
As a family, retell the Christmas story about the birth of Jesus. Use stuffed animals as puppets, wrap yourselves in sheets like robes and put on a play, or create a comic book. Together, celebrate that God’s Son, Jesus, came to save us.
Session 3: Jesus Is the Son of God
Read: Luke 2
Highlight: Luke 2:10-11
Reflect: When you think about the birth of Jesus, which words best describe what’s in your mind and heart?
Pray: Jesus, thank You for coming as the Savior of the world. Thank You for providing the way for me to be forgiven and have a relationship with You. You are the one and only Son of God. Help me live with You as the source of my joy.
Connect: How does the truth of who Jesus is make a difference in your Christmas celebrations?
Important Dates & Announcements:
This Sunday, 12/22, there will be no childcare or Sunday School provided for any age group in order to ensure that all volunteers can celebrate Christmas with their family in the main service. Merry Christmas!
