CCW Kids Weekly Update
Week 1: What We're Learning!

Hey parents! We will be in the series "Splash" all summer, but learning new things, of course! Check out what we're learning this weekend:
Announcements:
- Kids (overnight) Camp begins THIS Sunday after church. There will be NO CCWK midweek service on Wednesday, July 8th!
Psalms of Wisdom (Psalm 19)
Brite Idea: God is good.
Monthly Big Question (Preschool): How do I know God is good? Through His love for us.
Psalm 19 is a wisdom psalm. These psalms guide us in how God wants us to live. David celebrates how God reveals Himself through both nature and His Word. When we consider God’s glory and the beauty of His Word, David says we can search our hearts and seek to please Him.
God’s law truly is perfect, and thankfully, God gave us His law to show us how to live. While the law of the Lord is perfect, unfortunately we are not. All of us have sinned, and because of our sin, our relationship with God is broken. But because God is so good, that’s not the end of the story. Since the beginning, God had a plan to send His Son, Jesus. Jesus, who is God Himself, came as a man and lived a perfect life so He could be the perfect sacrifice for us. He died on the cross, rose again, and through His victory over sin and death, we can now have a restored relationship with God and live out the purpose He created us for.
Monthly Memory Verse: The Lord is good to all, and His mercy is over all that He has made. (Psalm 145:9)
