CCW Kids Weekly Update
Week 3: What We're Learning!

Hey parents! Take a look at what CCW Kids will be learning this week.
Week 2 — The Kingdom Divides (1 Kings 11–12)
Brite Idea: God never gives up on us.
Biblical Theme: God is with us.
King Solomon married many foreign wives who led him to worship other gods, despite God’s warnings. God told Solomon He would divide the kingdom, leaving only a portion for his family because of the promise He made to David. Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, ignored wise counsel and made the people's burdens heavier, leading to rebellion and the division of Israel. God promised a future King who would unite His people.
Even the wisest man in the world messed up. In Mark 10:18, Jesus said: “No one is good except God alone.” All people sin. We think, say or do things that disobey God. That is why Jesus came. Our sin separates us from God because He is holy and perfect. But He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to us. Jesus died and rose again, making a way for us to be forgiven and to have a relationship with God forever
Memory Verse: Psalm 46:1 — “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Reminder: November 30th will be a family style worship service. (K-5th will join adults in the 10 AM service).
