CCW Students Update

These weekly updates are posted every Thursday and include a recap of Wednesday night's lesson in addition to what students can look forward to in Sunday School. A schedule of upcoming events and registration links will also be included, as well as the occasional helpful resource for parents and/or students!

Our regular services are as follows:

CCW Students Sunday School: 8:45 AM

HS Boys - pastor Eli's office (main building)
HS Girls - classroom 2: green room (CCW Kids building)
MS Boys - classroom 1: red room (CCW Kids building)
MS Girls - classroom 3: blue room (CCW Kids building)

CCW Students Midweek: Dinner at 6 PM, Service at 6:30 PM - Gym

Upcoming Events and Announcements

Putter Up: On November 8, CCW Students will be traveling to Pelham, AL for a day trip to play putt putt golf. Register HERE or in the app!
Winter Retreat: On January 9-11, a Friday evening through Sunday morning, students will be traveling to WorldSong Missions Place for a Winter Retreat! The theme will be Christ for Culture and students will discuss how their faith impacts life, relationships, and the world! There are a maximum of 24 student spots. Stay tuned for registration link.

Midweek Recap and Sunday Preview

Hello CCW Students, friends, and family!

On Wednesday we resumed, and concluded, our series in Zechariah. We will have a brief stay in the book of Malachi before starting a series in the exciting book of Hebrews! Our text was Zechariah 14:3-21 and our title was "The Day of the Lord." We discussed that the day of the Lord will shake the earth, destroy God's enemies, and lead believers to worship him!

Sunday school's passages will look at Job 1:6-12, 40:1-9, and 42:7-9 and the lesson is titled "Life is Hard; God is Good." Although we experience suffering in this life, God is in control of all things!

Holiday Season Preview

With October out of the way, everyone's mind has shifted to the exciting holiday season. I want to offer transparency about our schedule so that CCW Student plans are clear!

November

26 - NO MIDWEEK SERVICES (Happy Thanksgiving!)

December

3 - NO MIDWEEK SERVICES (There will be a church business meeting. Members are expected to attend)
24 - NO MIDWEEK SERVICES (CCW will have a special Christmas Eve service at 4 PM; No regular Midweek services)
31 - NO MIDWEEK SERVICES (Happy New Year's Eve!)
