CCW Students Update

These weekly updates are posted every Thursday and include a recap of Wednesday night's lesson in addition to what students can look forward to in Sunday School. A schedule of upcoming events and registration links will also be included, as well as the occasional helpful resource for parents and/or students!

Our regular services are as follows:

CCW Students Sunday School: 8:45 AM

HS Boys - pastor Eli's office (main building)
HS Girls - classroom 2: green room (CCW Kids building)
MS Boys - classroom 1: red room (CCW Kids building)
MS Girls - classroom 3: blue room (CCW Kids building)

CCW Students Midweek: Dinner at 6 PM, Service at 6:30 PM

Midweek Recap and Sunday Preview

On Wednesday we continued in Zechariah 7:1-14. In our message titled "Heart of the Matter," we discussed that we should seek God's clarity when we are unsure how to obey him. God always sees past our outward actions and into our hearts, and he is very clear in explaining how we should live a life that honors him.

Sunday school's passage will be John 3:1-17 and the lesson is titled "Born Again." Those who believe in Jesus receive eternal life!

Important Update

Starting this Sunday, 10/05, we are excited to begin having four Sunday school classes for students. Middle school boys will meet in classroom 1 (red room) inside the CCW Kids building. High school boys will meet in pastor Eli's office inside the CCW main building. High school girls will meet in classroom 2 (green room) inside the CCW Kids building. Middle school girls will meet in classroom 3 (blue room) inside the CCW Kids building. Class location assignments are subject to change.

Please note, it has become customary for students to arrive at 9 AM - 9:15 AM. However, we share our Sunday school space with the CCW Kids ministry, so our Sunday school time must end strictly at 9:45 AM. Please ensure students arrive on time for Sunday school at 8:45 AM so we can use our full Sunday school hour time without going over on time. Thank you!

Upcoming Events and Announcements

Upward Sports Concessions Stand: CCW Students operates a concessions stand during Upward sports from 2-4 PM (no cooking skills required!). Proceeds go the CCW Student ministry. We need student volunteers! If you are interested, reach out to pastor Eli.
Homeschool Fellowship: On October 10, CCW Students who homeschool are welcome to attend our first 6th-12th grade homeschool fellowship at Activate. Register ONLINE or in the app!
Student Led Night: October 22 will be our first student led night of the fall semester. Any students who are interested in participating should let pastor Eli know.
PopStroke: On November 8, CCW Students will be traveling to Tuscaloosa, AL for a day trip to play putt putt golf. Registration coming soon!
