Going, Not Knowing | Pastor Rick Wright | The Church at CW

Imagine packing your bags for a road trip without knowing the destination. You would likely feel uncertain, you would likely feel better about the trip if you knew and trusted the person that was driving. In Genesis 12, Abraham faced a similar moment when God called him to leave his homeland and follow Him into the unknown. Abraham obeyed, but the journey included detours, poor decisions, and difficult lessons. Still, in all of this, God remained faithful and welcomed Abraham back to the altar. Sometimes, God calls us to take the next step before revealing the entire path. We may stumble along the way, but His grace invites us to return to Him. Faith isn’t having every answer or knowing the destination; it’s trusting God enough to follow wherever He leads, having confidence He'll guide you through. Come and worship with us this week as we begin our new series Friends of God.
