What does friendship with Jesus look like when following Him gets difficult? In Daniel 3, we see a powerful picture through three friends, feeling very real pressure. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were commanded to bow before an image, but they refused to compromise their worship. Their response was simple: “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us,” but even if He didn’t, they would still remain faithful. That is what worship looks like. It's not just singing on Sunday morning. It is choosing God when the pressure is on. It is trusting Him when we don’t understand what He is doing. It is remaining faithful when obedience comes with a cost. Notice this: God didn’t keep them out of the fire. He met them in it. When we walk faithfully with Christ, we may still face the furnace, but we will never face it alone. Come be apart of worship this Sunday as we continue our series on Friendship.
