Midweek Recap and Sunday Preview

Yesterday's message was from Zechariah 3:1-10. Together our guest speaker, Trea Sanders, taught us that God has the power to protect us from Satan's accusations and cleanse us from sin. Also, God calls us to honor him with our obedience and blesses us with fulfilled promises. God's promised Messiah is the source of stability, purity, and peace.

Sunday School's passage will be from Genesis 3:1-8, 13-15, 21-24 — God promised a Redeemer as a result of humanity's rebellion.

Charlie Kirk Tragedy

American activist, Charlie Kirk, was tragically assassinated yesterday in Utah. In the final years of his life, Kirk's values of democracy and free speech were informed by his Christian faith. The taking of innocent life is evil, because only God has the right to give or take life.

Kirk's strongest influence was with young people, specifically young men. If you or your student(s) are struggling with grief or questions in light of these events, CCW is here to serve you.

Communication and Contact Consent

Communication is an important part of student ministry. It helps build friendships among students and provides opportunities for encouragement and mentorship from leaders. Many students already use phone or digital communication to ask questions about events, share prayer requests, or send invitations to activities. Group messages are also a helpful way to share updates, prayer needs, and encouragement with students and leaders together.

Parents cannot join certain student/leader group communications in lieu of their student because every family has different communication preferences. This form allows you as the parent/guardian to decide what type of communication you are comfortable with for your student. Our goal is to ensure safety, clear communication, and respect for your family’s choice.

Find a PDF of the contact consent  form in the CCW Students email and submit it to pastor Eli
