CCW Students Update
These weekly updates are sent every Thursday and include a recap of Wednesday night's lesson in addition to what students can look forward to in Sunday School. A schedule of upcoming events and registration links will also be included, as well as the occasional helpful resource for parents and/or students!

Our regular services are as follows:

CCW Students Sunday School: 8:45 AM
- Girls meet in Classroom 1 and boys meet in Classroom 2
CCW Students Midweek: Dinner at 6 PM, Service at 6:30 PM
- Gym

Midweek Recap and Sunday Preview
Yesterday's message was a topical message on humanity, AI, and integrity. We looked at Genesis 2, Ecclesiastes 3, and 1 Thessalonians 4 to establish that we are made in God's image with eternity in our hearts and will be called up to be in heaven with the Lord forever. We also looked at artificial intelligence as words and bytes not souls and feelings to identify the difference between what is artificial and what is authentic. Finally, we looked at Proverbs to understand that God values integrity in public and in private.

Midweek will resume a regular series next week by beginning in Zechariah. Sunday School's passage will be from Psalm 42:1-11 describing how God's presence brings hope even when we go through difficult times.

Upcoming Events and Announcements

TEAMS: We will begin student led teams to help grow and get students involved in the student group. The teams are: Lead Team, Serve Team, and Worship Team. Reach out if you want more information about these teams or how to get involved!
MEN'S MINISTRY TAILGATE AND DRAFT PARTY: Male students are invited to attend this event to watch football, draft fantasy football teams, and enjoy fellowship on 08/30/25. Click HERE to register or find more information.
FALL KICKOFF: We will officially 'relaunch' for the fall semester on 09/03/25. There will be different activities and a different meal provided than what is normal for this special Midweek. Students are challenged to bring friends to win some of our new CCW Students gear.
FIRST FRIDAY: This semester, we will meet at the Chelsea Waffle House at 6:15 AM the first Friday of every month to fellowship before school. The meeting will be FRIDAY, 09/05.
