Once you submit your group for the series or semester, the team at CCW will get your group set up.  Once it is set up, you will get an email each time someone "Request to join" your group and you will have to approve them to let them in

Typically each group should have no more than 12 - 14 people in it.  They are designed to have discussion in smaller groups.  Once your group (not counting the leaders) gets the 12 - 14 people, just send an email to cgleaders@thechurchatcw.com and we can close the group

The purpose of having the group here is to communicate and build community.  By using the CCW app for group communication, it not only does this but also allows for people to connect more within the app like messages, events, etc.

A few days prior to your group day/time, you should send a message thru to everyone welcoming them to your group and list the meal plan for that night and ask each of them to reply back with what they can bring for that theme.

This starts the communication process

After your meal, it is a best practice to make sure everyone got logged in to the app with the email they used to register with.  Make sure each person got the notification of your meal plan.  If they didnt get it, they will need to turn their notifications "On" to receive them.  They may need to delete the app and reinstall the app and when prompted, accept notifications.

Send another message through to ensure everyone received it.  Show them how they can list prayer request for your group which is the most powerful tool we have together!

A few days before each weeks Connect Group, you will want to send a meal plan and ask each person to reply with what they can bring
