CCW Students Update

These weekly updates are posted every Thursday and include a recap of Wednesday night's lesson in addition to what students can look forward to in Sunday School. A schedule of upcoming events and registration links will also be included, as well as the occasional helpful resource for parents and/or students!

Our regular services are as follows:

CCW Students Sunday School: 8:45 AM

HS Boys - pastor Eli's office (main building)
HS Girls - classroom 2: green room (CCW Kids building)
MS Boys - classroom 1: red room (CCW Kids building)
MS Girls - classroom 3: blue room (CCW Kids building)

CCW Students Midweek: Dinner at 6 PM, Service at 6:30 PM - Gym

Upcoming Events and Announcements

Christmas Party: On December 17, CCW Students will be having our Christmas party! We will be wearing ugly sweaters and/or Christmas pajamas (whatever you already have on hand) and going Christmas caroling in Oaklyn Hills neighborhood. We will meet at the church at 6 PM for dinner and will carpool to the neighborhood as soon as we are done eating. There is one house in the neighborhood that puts on a spectacular Christmas light show. We will conclude at that house with hot cocoa and cider before returning to the church.
Winter Retreat: On January 9-11, a Friday evening through Sunday morning, students will be traveling to WorldSong Missions Place for a Winter Retreat! The theme will be Christ for Culture and students will discuss how their faith impacts life, relationships, and the world! There are a maximum of 24 student spots. Register online or in the app!

Midweek Recap and Sunday Preview

Hello CCW Students, friends, and family!

We did not meet Wednesday because of the Thanksgiving holiday. I pray that you and your family have had the time to reflect on all the many reasons you have to be thankful!

Sunday school's passages will look at John 20-1-18 and the lesson is titled "The Tomb is Empty!" Jesus reigns victorious as our risen king!

Holiday Season Preview

With November almost out of the way, everyone's mind has shifted to the exciting Christmas season. I want to offer transparency about our schedule so that CCW Student plans are clear!

December

3 - NO MIDWEEK SERVICES (There will be a church business meeting. Members are expected to attend)
24 - NO MIDWEEK SERVICES (CCW will have a special Christmas Eve service at 4 PM; No regular Midweek services)
31 - NO MIDWEEK SERVICES (Happy New Year's Eve!)
