A Message from Pastor Danny
Dear Church Family,
Happy Father's Day to all our dads! We think of our dads and all the things we appreciate about them. Love them while you can and show your gratitude! As we gather together (with social distancing) we have several families who will be dedicating their babies to the Lord. As we commit ourselves to raising our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, we give back to God what he has given to us! Several of our church family have been waiting to be follow the Lord's example in baptism, and this Sunday is the day. Celebrate all these things with us this Sunday!
Sunday's message is "Eagle Christians"! Isaiah 40:31 says “They that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” The believer who truly places his hope in the Lord will renew his strength, exchange his weakness for the Lord’s strength (2 Corinthians 12:9). The Lord will build up the believer, empower his spirit to soar above the trials and temptations that afflict him, to soar just like an eagle above the earth. A believer who truly hopes in the Lord will be strengthened so that he can run through the problems, hardships, trails and temptations of life. And he will not grow weary. He will walk victoriously, triumphantly, and not faint, he won't quit.
This Sunday, we're again in the building worshiping together, though with social distancing and a super clean, and sanitized building. Sunday School begins this Sunday for adults and children. Find your place at 8:45! The elementary age children are in Children's Church and the rest of our families are together in the 10:00 service. The nursery will re-open in July and fellowship meal in late August. Many of the online ministry opportunities will continue to be available to you as we move toward our new normal.
